As a PolicyWorks partner, Brian has over 30 years of experience in public affairs and lobbying at the local, state and federal levels.  While his primary focus now is on State Government in Iowa, his past includes serving as a Senior Legislative Liaison at the firm of Olsson, Frank and Weeda in Washington, D.C. where he worked on a variety of federal issues.
 
A former teacher, Brian started in government relations directing government affairs for a public utility in Iowa, overseeing policy and budget, operations and guiding legislative strategy.  His other interests include books, his grandchildren, and working outdoors.
